Tina Glasner
I am a writer, editor, and artist recently living in West Hills. Now in the Santa Cruz area, but final destination unknown...
I have over 24 years' professional experience. My writing subject matter has included business, health, travel, and human resources topics. Right now my projects include a screenplay, a musical, and a biography. I have been published many times as a freelance writer (under my previous name Farrell), and have worked as an editor on numerous works of nonfiction and fiction. In the corporate world my most recent titles have been technical writer and editor, and production editor.
I am also proficient in desktop layout, and I have designed books, manuals, newsletters, brochures, display ads, and more. I have created logos, pen and ink portraits, and a cartoon called "DoubleSpace."
In 1998 the San Jose Mercury News put my picture on the front page to go with a tribute to my father that appeared in their Celebrations section. I was also honored to be chosen as class speaker at ITT Technical Institute in 2004, where I obtained a degree in Multimedia. I have served in many capacities for the California Writers Club, South Bay Branch, and was honored to receive the Jack London Award.
