Christina Steiner
Nature is the ultimate experience for human kind. Is there a better way to spend an afternoon than with a book under an oak tree, or on the back of a horse cantering through a meadow, or hiking a forgotten trail in the mountains?
Christina was born and raised in the small town of Schwyz in Switzerland, the youngest of five children. Reading was one of the entertainments that provided a glimpse of a bigger world. Finished with her studies as an architectural draftsperson, she traveled through Europe, Israel, and the United States. In her mid-twenties, enthralled by the beauty and weather of California, she settled in the San Fernando Valley and raised two daughters. Just recently she became a grandmother of twins.
At present, Christina resides in Simi Valley and pursues a degree at Moorpark College. Besides short stories and poetry, she is working on a novel. The highest reward so far has been an Honorable Mention by Writer’s Digest for a juvenile story. She divides her time between writing, reading, riding and hiking – a perfect balance.
